Wang Yongsheng stated that traditional industries such as steel should take the path of high-end, high-quality, and efficient development, stimulate new productive forces through digitization and greening, and unleash new industrial momentum.
In his view, traditional industries can achieve systematic reshaping and disruptive leaps through the application of digital technology and new technologies for energy conservation and environmental protection, while achieving green and digital transformation, and can also form new quality productive forces.
Wang Yongsheng stated that the company is accelerating the construction of a high-quality steel green transformation project, aiming to achieve high-end, high-quality, ultimate energy efficiency, and green low-carbon products.
Wang Yongsheng believes that leading enterprises should play a leading role in the chain and drive the development of upstream and downstream cooperation. Backbone enterprises must make achievements in high-level opening up and demonstrate their skills in high-quality investment promotion.
He stated that leading enterprises have strong resource integration capabilities and a significant radiating driving effect. Once there is sunshine, rain, and suitable soil, they will burst out with strong development momentum, driving the coordinated development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain and supply chain, forming an industrial development pattern where leading enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises advance side by side. Mount Taishan Iron&Steel has attracted more than 10 upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to settle in Jinan through product upgrading and extension of the industrial chain, forming an industrial cluster effect.
Wang Yongsheng suggests that we should attach importance to the key supporting role of leading backbone enterprises, increase support for leading industries and enterprises, open up “green channels” for leading enterprises, provide specialized services and assistance for key provincial and municipal enterprises and major projects, and better leverage the role of leading enterprises in local economic growth.
