Recently, the second annual meeting and standard review meeting of the 7th National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee was held in Quzhou, Zhejiang. Yongnian Standard Parts Research Institute, together with Hebei Provincial Fastener Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center, Hebei Jinan Fastener Co., Ltd., Hebei Bantler Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hebei Xinderun Fastener Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Jinzhaobo High Strength Fastener Co., Ltd, Hebei Xinderun Fastener Technology Co., Ltd., Hebei Tuofan Communication Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hebei Wanli High Strength Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hebei Zhaotuo Fastener Co., Ltd., as well as Handan Enterprise Handan Zhengfa Technology Co., Ltd. (Cheng’an) and other well-known enterprises in the industry participated in this meeting.
The conference lasted for two days, with the theme of revising and formulating two national standards, including large hexagon and welding nails. Yongnian District, as one of the main producing areas for the aforementioned two types of products in China, holds a pivotal position in the country. Since the beginning of this year, Ding Baoping, Director of the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee, and Chen Yanling, Secretary General, have come to Yongnian multiple times to host technical exchange activities. During this period, there have been extensive discussions on the formulation of national standards for large hexagonal and welding nails. Yongnian Enterprise has made full preparations for participating in this conference.
At the meeting, there was a heated discussion on the two types of washers, tapping before and after heat treatment, torque coefficient test speed, thread accuracy, and other issues in the large hexagonal standard. Enterprises in Yongnian District actively contribute and promote the achievement of the conference results. On the issue of gasket form, the conference has preliminarily reached the opinion of formulating two standards: internal and external double chamfering and only external chamfering; On the issue of ensuring thread accuracy, some committee members have proposed the production process requirement of first heat treatment followed by tapping. Li Xiaolei from Yongnian Xinderun Company has raised objections, believing that the product should be specified based on the performance parameters of the finished product itself, rather than limiting the production process. This opinion has been widely recognized by the attendees.
